Vanessa Teo

I'm a software engineer at Vercel and a Computer Science graduate from UC Berkeley (go bears!).

I like building software that makes AI genuinely useful for everyone. Lately that's meant working on agents, product systems, and tools that make complex workflows feel simple and accessible. At Vercel, I'm building and leading V, our internal superagent.

Previously I was the Head Teaching Assistant for CS61B, Berkeley's Data Structures and Algorithms class, which encouraged me to pursue computer science. I also interned twice at Pinterest, first on the Internal Tools Platform building internal RAG tools, then on the Batch Processing Platform, where I built an agent for Spark error diagnoses.

I like cats, exploring new cities and cuisines, and all types of live music.
